Kerens Library Benefits from Cotton Harvest Festival
The fifth annual Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival was a huge success. Kim Latta, chairman of the 2009 Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival, recently presented a check in the amount of $9,000 to Buster Atkeisson, president of the Kerens Library Board. All proceeds from the annual festival benefit the Kerens Library which is open six days a week and is staffed 100 percent by volunteers.
